American Progress Unveils the Mask of Anti-Gulen Charter School Network

Gulen charter school teachers
 love and respect humanity
Now it becomes clear who pulls the strings of the puppets. They hire puppets to denigrate the so-called gulen charter schools that are part of the worldwide Gulen schools. Are you asking why? They do it because they do not want to share their part in what they earn through charter schools. They do run charter schools to fill their pockets. Notwithstanding, gulen charter schools strive for the sole purpose of education. Dedicated teachers in these so-called gulen schools are the best proof for it.

The anti-charter school network is a part of larger organization that are formed and supported by a small group of conservative foundations that promote islamofobia across America. These foundations fund the persons and organizations in order to manipulate the American public. They try to create a negative image of Islam in people's minds so that Islam will be perceived as equal to terrorism.

According to them, Islam is thought in these gulen charter schools, which number more than a hundred throughout the nation. Moreover, they assert that the people in these gulen schools promote hatred against Americans. They cannot show one single proof to this nonsense. It is a generic fact that those who hate cannot teach children. The ultimate characteristics of a teacher is love and dedication to his/her job. There is not a single example of promoting hate against Americans in these gulen charter schools.

Let's see the list of the donors and then we will continue.
  • Donors Capital Fund
  • Richard Mellon Scaife foundations
  • Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation
  • Newton D. & Rochelle F. Becker foundations and charitable trust
  • Russell Berrie Foundation
  • Anchorage Charitable Fund and William Rosenwald Family Fund
  • Fairbrook Foundation

  1. The truth reveals itself slowly. It is so sad to see these so called foundations putting their political agenda first. It is also so sad to see how they put their dark ideas into action while our children need desperately good quality education. Once they left our children behind, these were the schools that came with bright, refresh and humane approach. While our teachers were so tired with our children in regular public schools, these people opened new schools with the idea of no child left behind and no skills left behind. Shame you all. I am totally disgusted with your dark aged ideas.

  2. President Obama called on the American people to come together in the spirit of service and remembrance as we approach the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks. We do the same as Horizon Science Academy families. All members of Horizon Science Academy can pay tribute to those who lost their lives during 9/11 by visiting Serve.Gov to find ways to help within their own communities. Through even the smallest of actions, we can reclaim the sense of unity that followed the attacks, and demonstrate that our sense of common purpose is just as strong today as it was ten years ago. Americans can once again come together to mark this solemn anniversary with service, and move towards a bright future as one nation.
This week Horizon Science Academy students, parents and staff will come together to mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks. We’ll remember the innocent lives we lost with various activities. We’ll stand with the families who loved them. We’ll honor the heroic first responders who rushed to the scene and saved so many. And we’ll pay tribute to our troops and military families, and all those who have served over the past ten years, to keep us safe and strong.
This week we will continue to recite The Pledge of Allegiance of the United States by deeply remembering the innocent lives we lost. We’ll also recall how the worst terrorist attack in American history brought out the best in the American people. How Americans lined up to give blood. How volunteers drove across the country to lend a hand. How schoolchildren donated their savings. How communities, faith groups and businesses collected food and clothing.
We also understood the study done by Center for American Progress. Basically the study showed one more time that Islam is not the enemy. The real enemy is Islamophobia. Unfortunately some so called foundations are trying to promote it and spending millions of dollars. We see that and we won’t fall for it.

  3. So these foundations pay people to attack on Gulen Charter Schools. I hope they do not go as crazy as Anders Behring Breivik. You never know. These are a treat to public safety in general. I am assuming our intelligency is keeping an eye on these foundations and people who promote Islamofobia.

  4. Charter school failure is charter school success.

The heading seems confusing but it truly states the most basic reason why we need charter schools in USA. It is simply because we can shut down those failing charter schools easily while we can not do the same for failing public schools. Charter school people begin their work with the end in mind. Charter schoolers begin each day, task, or project with a clear vision of their desired direction: quality education or shut down!

Charter -schools can be shut down for non-academic reasons such as low attendance rate, non-complying with special education, serious audit findings. Also keep in mind that some charter schools fail because are held to much higher standards than traditional public schools.

In the chartered school world, they all know that they have been granted a charter for a certain period of time. If they don’t perform at the level they need to for students and parents, they won’t remain a school. Many of these schools include an emphasis on military-like discipline, home visits, character development and zero-tolerance policies.

As a charter school parent, I say it would be scary if it was otherwise. Can you imagine that no charter school has been shut down since 1997, the first year the charter school opened? I like my Horizon and I support it. And I do not buy those attacker’s biased ideas. Well we recently found out their sponsors who are also trying to promote Islamophobia.

  5. The bottom line is that the results prove that the schools is working. Charter schools are not for every student, but there are many students who flourish in the smaller, individualized setting. Why try and take that away?

  6. I am disgusted about how the media can pick and choose details and convince naive viewers that such schools should be overlooked for it's achievements because it has a racially diverse group of teachers.

Plese let us know what you think about the issue of the charter schools allegedly linked to Fethullah Gulen and thus labelled as Gulen charter schools.
